Our Board of Trustees and committees develop our issues and policy recommendations with the sole purpose of improving quality of life in Orange County. Our Quality of Life Report Cards point clearly to a decrease in our working population – the 25-45 year old sector – while also showing an increase in our 85-plus population.

We aim to attract young people and the older generation alike, by keeping housing affordable, improving proximity to mass transit, developing walk-able, vibrant communities, improving sustainable economic development efforts, and encouraging intelligent land use decisions.
