Submit a Nomination by March 4 for the 2022 Ottaway Medal

Each year, Vision Hudson Valley presents the Ruth and James Ottaway Medal to an individual or organization who has contributed significantly to quality of life in Orange County.

Vision Hudson Valley is asking for nominations for this year, our 27th, which can be submitted via our short form here. VHV plans to stage a summertime event to present the medal, assuming prevailing pandemic conditions will allow it.

VHV looks forward to again recognizing a community leader who exemplifies the dedication and positive impact the Ottaway family brought to Orange County and the Hudson Valley for several decades.

Referred to by some as the “Orange County Oscar,” the Ottaway’s prestige is well-known and past honorees represent a wide array of individuals and organizations, each dedicated to improving the quality of life for so many.
