Unique afternoon event concludes with cocktail networking reception

Sugar Loaf, N.Y. – May 20, 2014 – The Orange County Citizens Foundation recently announced the date for the 2014 “9 & Dine” golf outing, to be held Friday, June 6 at Winding Hills Golf Course in Montgomery. Limited space and sponsorships are available for this unique fundraising event.

The afternoon begins with a 2 p.m. tee off and concludes with a 5 p.m. cocktail reception, which will provide golfers and non-golfers alike an opportunity to network and support the Citizens Foundation. For golfers, the cost is $85 or $300 for a foursome; for non-golfers, tickets for the cocktail reception only are $25.

All proceeds from this event will go directly toward supporting the work and projects of the Citizens Foundation. The Citizens Foundation’s main focus this year will be to update its Quality of Life Report Card, last published in 2012.

The Quality of Life Report Card was first developed by the Citizens Foundation in 2007 to help define the Citizens Foundation’s goals, and determine policy directions for the organization and for Orange County. This report, the only one of its kind in Orange County, served as a baseline report for the quality of life in the county in comparison to the region and New York State.
